Coffee County Middle and Westwood each picked up a road win on Monday night, with the Lady Raiders winning a two set match against North Middle and the Lady Rockets picking up a three set win at Forrest.

CCMS Lady Raiders

The Lady Raiders improved to 5-0 on the season with a 2-0 win over the North Gatorettes in Winchester.

The JV team for Coffee County also picked up a two set victory.

Coffee County Middle will play host to North in their next match on Wednesday, Aug. 21 with JV action starting at 5 p.m.

Westwood Lady Rockets

Westwood improved their mark to 3-1 on the year with three set victory against Forrest at Chapel Hill in a battle of the Lady Rockets.

The first set went the way of Westwood, who won 25-15, but Forrest answered back in the second set with a narrow 25-22 win to force a third set.

Westwood won the deciding third set 15-9 to win the match 2-1.

In the match, Westwood had a combined seven aces and five kills with Sophia Phillips collecting the most aces with four and Adalyn Wild picking up three kills.

The Westwood JV squad also picked up a win, winning in two sets. Aaliyah Ransom led the way in aces for the JV squad.

Westwood will travel to Community on Wednesday, Aug. 21 with the JV teams starting things off at 4:30 p.m.
