Costello leads Red Raiders in three team battle

On Monday afternoon, the CCCHS Red Raider golf team picked up another win at WillowBrook Golf Club in a nine hole match against Franklin County and Lincoln County.
This time, Coffee County was led by Noah Costello, who turned in an overall best score of 35 as Jack Stowe scored a 38, Jaxon Phillips scored a 40 and Levi Rossman turned in a 41 to give the Red Raiders an overall score of 154.
Lincoln County finished second with an overall score of 231 and their best scores came from Grayson Gentry and Jake Gulley, who each turned in a 56.
Franklin County’s best effort came from Garrett Patterson with a 43, but the Rebels didn’t have enough players to turn in a team score.
On the girls side, Leah Kate Sullivan scored a 46 while Karsyn Riddle turned in a 61 to give the Lady Raiders an overall score of 107. The only other individual scored in the match was Lincoln County’s Abigail Luttrell, who scored a 64.
Coffee County golf will be back at WillowBrook Golf Club to play host to the Golden Classic on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
