Campbell, Carden named to NFCA All-Region Team

Last month, two Lady Raider softball players, Paisley Campbell and Willow Carden, were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region Team.
Campbell, a junior last season, played a mix of catcher, second base, third base and flex and was named to the Region VII First Team as a utility player.
In the previous season, Campbell compiled a batting average of .372, three home runs, one triple, six doubles and 30 RBIs. On the defensive side of the diamond, Campbell had a .982 fielding percentage.
Carden, who finished her senior season, played a mix of first, second and third base and was named to the Region VII Second Team, also as a utility player.
At season’s end, Carden had a batting average of .481, four home runs, two triples, 13 doubles and 22 RBIs while also accumulating a .947 fielding percentage on defense.
Carden will look to continue her softball career in the college ranks at Volunteer State Community College.
