On Tuesday morning, Coffee County Central High School announced that Red Raider Baseball Coach Kyle Douglas has resigned from his position to pursue another career opportunity.
Douglas was the head coach for three seasons at Coffee County, leading the team to an overall record of 48-46-1 with District Championships in 2022 and 2023.
This past season, the Red Raiders went 14-17-1, placing fifth in 4A District 9 Standings before losing to Columbia and Spring Hill in the District Tournament.
“We want to wish Coach Douglas well in his new venture,” said Athletic Director Brad Costello. “…but our focus now turns to getting the right coach in place.”
The job listing will be posted later today and Coffee County will now be conducting their search for a new Head Baseball Coach.
