Crafters donate quilts to police

N

Foothills Crafts in Manchester recently donated 38 handmade quilts along with toothpaste, toothbrushes and body wash to the Manchester Police Department. Officers will keep the care packages in their vehicles to be distributed to an individual in need during a difficult time. Plans are to make an additional 10 quilts for the police department. Foothills Crafts members would like to thank the numerous community members who donated their time and supplies to the project. While the crafters will continue to work on quilts for police, their next big project will be tote bags for the Coffee County Manchester Public Library Summer Reading Program.
