Goalie Brayden Trail and the Red Raiders would hold on for their first district win of the season.

“It was good to get that first district win,” said Coach Robert Harper. “We’ve had excellent defensive play to start the season and we’re going to enjoy this win, but we’ve got a big game Monday night against Shelbyville and they are going to be tough.”

Coffee County remains unbeaten at 6-0-2, having only surrendered three goals with two of those three coming from penalty kicks.

The Red Raiders will look to get another district win when they host Shelbyville Central on Monday, Apr. 15 at 7:00 pm. The two teams met previously on Mar. 14 with the game ending in a 0-0 draw.
