Barlow selected to TSWA All-State Wrestling Team

On Saturday, Coffee County’s Jacob Barlow was named to the Tennessee Sports Writers Association All-State AA Wrestling Team in the 150 pound weight class.
“It means the world to me that I have people believing in me and the work I have put in,” said Barlow. “It took countless hours of hard work in the training room to get to this point in my career.”
Barlow, a senior at Central High School, had a fantastic season for the Red Raiders, earning first place in his division at each the Bradley Central Invitational in December, the Red Hawk Rampage on Jan. 6 and the Admiral Invitational on Jan. 13.
In the AA Region 4 Tournament, Barlow placed first in his division, earning the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament and the Region 4 Wrestler of the Year honors.
Barlow would also place first in the Section 2 Tournament and qualify for the State Tournament for the fourth time in his high school career, finishing the tournament in fourth place.
On Thursday, Barlow signed his letter of intent to Cumberland University, and will look to continue his wrestling career in the college ranks.
