Lady Raiders sweep Spring Hill

On Tuesday night, the Coffee County Lady Raiders continued their strong start to the season with another win over Spring Hill, 13-0.

The Lady Raiders set the tone right from the start, scoring two runs in each of the game’s first three innings to pile up a 6-0 lead.

Coffee County would score another four runs in the fourth inning, with two of those runs coming from a Madison Pruitt double and the Lady Raiders led 10-0 through four innings of play.

The Lady Raiders would score another three runs in the fifth inning and go on to win the game, 13-0.

Madison Pruitt would end the game with four RBIs on two hits, Maggie Montgomery had one RBI on two hits, Willow Carden and Savannah Cooper would each have one RBI on one hit and Ella Arnold and Riley Phillips each had an RBI.

Katelyn Anderson would get credit for the win in the circle, pitching three innings, allowing just three hits and striking out three batters on 35 pitches.

The Lady Raiders improve to 4-0 on the season and they will take on Green Hill in their first game of the Warrior Classic on Thursday, Mar. 21 at 6:00 pm.
