Manchester couple welcomes first baby of 2024

The Women’s Center at Vanderbilt Tullahoma – Harton Hospital (VTHH) welcomed the first baby of 2024 at 9:11 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2024.
Macie Jae Williams arrived weighing 8 pounds and 4 ounces and 19.25 inches in length. Macie Jae has two brothers: August Williams who is 4 years old and Sagen James Williams who is 1 year old. They, along with her parents, Kirsten Woods, and James Williams, reside in Manchester.
The delivering physician was Dr. Elton Kerr with H. Mather Bennett, M.D. being Kirsten’s ob/gyn. The Women’s Center nurses were Erica Stillwell, RN, labor nurse, and Brenda Wagnon, RN, the baby’s nurse. In addition to their celebration meal, the family was presented with balloons, a basket of baby items, a Walmart gift card, birth announcements, and the two brothers received Paw Patrol blankets and cups.
“We appreciate all those who choose us to be a part of the arrival of their new family members,” states Liese Harris, MSN, RN, Director, VTHH Women’s Center. “The first baby of a new year gives us a special opportunity to celebrate and reflect on the amazing possibilities of the upcoming year.”
Vanderbilt Tullahoma – Harton is a 135-bed facility serving the residents of Coffee, Moore, Franklin, Bedford and surrounding communities.
