On Tuesday, Coffee County senior Timothy Henderson signed his letter of intent to play baseball at Trevecca Nazarene University.

“I thought it was the best place for me to go,” said Henderson. “I like where it’s located, and I’m looking forward to playing college baseball and getting to know new teammates. It should be fun!”

Henderson says he hasn’t completely decided on a major, but he would like to pursue a career along the business path.

A pitcher for the Red Raiders, Henderson had 41 strikeouts in 2023 as well as 4.61 ERA and a .750 win %.

With one more year of high school baseball left, Henderson is looking forward to another great season.

“It would be nice to win another district championship, but if we don’t, I at least want to have fun with my friends this year.”
