On Saturday, Nov. 25 at the Manchester Recreation Center, two former swimmers and one current swimmer for the Manchester Makos were honored for being nationally recognized.

The three swimmers have all achieved national recognition whether it was from swimming in a Division I program, representing their school at a national swim meet or achieving a US Open cut.

The three swimmers honored were Ashley Slayton, who swam with the Makos from 2014-2019 and swam with the Alabama Crimson Tide from 2019-2023, Kaylee Williams, who swam with the Makos in their first year of 2008 until 2020 and is currently swimming with Milligan University and Isaac Lee, who has been swimming with the Manchester Makos since 2014 and will attend Auburn starting in the fall of 2024.

To honor these swimmers, each will have a plaque that will be enshrined at the Manchester Recreation Center.
