On Friday, the Coffee Central Lady Raiders got their sixth straight win and their first road win of the season over the McMinn Central Chargerettes at Bradley Central High School in the Bearette Thanksgiving Classic.

The Lady Raiders took control at the start, leading the game 21-10 on the strength of Channah Gannon’s eight first quarter points.

However, the Chargerettes came fighting back in the second quarter, outscoring the Lady Raiders 15-6 in the second as Coffee led at halftime, 27-25.

The game remained tightly contested in the third, as the Lady Raiders outscored the Chargerettes 9-7 in the quarter, with seven of those nine points coming from Gannon, as Coffee remained in front 36-32 heading into the fourth.

From there, the Lady Raiders decided to take the game for themselves, shutting out the Chargerettes 19-0 in the final quarter for a 55-32 win.

Scoring for the Lady Raiders were Channah Gannon with 19 points, Olivia Vinson with 11 points, Natalie Barnes with 10 points, Jules Ferrell with eight, Nakayjah Holman with four and Ava McIntosh with three.

The Lady Raiders return to Bradley Central tomorrow at 1:00 ET for their second game of the Bearette Thanksgiving Classic.
