Mrs. Willie Mae Nunley Caldwell, age 88, of Manchester, passed from this life on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. Caldwell was born in Tracy City, TN to her late parents Andrew Nunley and Mae Sweeton Nunley. She was a business owner and a homemaker for most of her life. Mrs. Caldwell and her late husband, Ronnie, attended Hickory Grove Baptist Church. She was a very family-oriented person and loved her kids and grandkids to no end. Mrs. Caldwell had a heart of gold and a sweet loving spirit. She loved nature and enjoyed tending to her flowers and plants. Mrs. Caldwell was a very religious person and read her Bible any time she could and when she was younger, she taught Sunday school. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ronnie Caldwell; siblings, James Nunley, Glen Nunley, Jeweline Church, and Charles Leonard Nunley. Mrs. Caldwell is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Bill) Lynch; son, Scottie (Angie) Caldwell; sister, Christine (Herbert) Cooper; grandchildren, Valerie (Richie) Congo, Miranda Lynch, and Ashley Lynch; great grandchildren, Chloe Green, Noah Green, Brooklynn Henley, Brianna Henley, Bradynn Henley, Avianna Congo, and Amira Congo. Visitation was held Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023, from noon until 2 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester. Funeral services followed ain the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Elwell officiating. Burial was at Plainview Cemetery in Tracy City.
