Lamar Edward “Buddy” Foster, age 22 of Manchester, passed away on Monday, Aug. 7, 2023.  He was born in Winchester on Oct. 9, 2000.  Lamar was currently employed by the City of Manchester in maintenance for the Parks and Recreation Department.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hanging out with his friends, and listening to country music and was an avid University of Tennessee Volunteers fan. He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Stacy Veanettie; grandfather/dad, Hobert Foster Sr; and grandmother/mother, Glenda Foster. Lamar is survived by his mother/aunt, Niki (Michael) Pittman of Decherd; father, Hobert Foster of Chattanooga; sisters/cousins, Alyssa (Tyler) Frasier of Manchester, Chelsy Carroll of Winchester, Chasity Winton of Monteagle, and Erin (Logan) Martin of McMinnville; brothers/cousins, Joe Carroll of McMinnville, and Derek Morris of Fayetteville; and many other aunts, cousins, family, and friends.  Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10 at Watson Funeral Home.  Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home with Rev. Rickey Taylor officiating.  Interment followed at Watson Memorial Park.
