Mrs. Dorothy “Faye” Gold Stacy, age 74 of Rock Island, was born on Sept. 23, 1948, to the late Edward and Nellena (Ray) Gold, in Manchester. She enjoyed watching her hummingbirds, attending to her flowers, and traveling. She was a member of the Marble Plains Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Faye is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jimmy Yates; beloved dog Star. She is survived by her Husband of 23 years, Ricky Stacy; stepson Ricky Lynn Stacy (wife Laura); sisters, Sherry Gold Yates, Rita Short (husband Jim); grandchildren, Abi and Andrew Stacy; nieces, Stephanie Grigg(husband Jimmy), Tonya Walters (husband Thor), and Lindsay Bogle (husband Jt); nephew, Derek Yates; beloved dog Roho; several great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Faye were conducted on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023, at 2 p.m., with Bro. Keith Jarvis officiating, in the chapel of Manchester Funeral Home. Burial followed in Marble Plains Cemetery. Visitation was held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023, at the Funeral Home.
