The Manchester Planning Commission approved the site plan Sept. 21 for a Culver’s restaurant that will be located adjacent to Chick-il-A on the Hillsboro Highway.

Culver’s representative Mike Houseman, Vice President of Wolverine Construction, said construction on the 4800 square foot restaurant should begin as soon as in the next 3-4 weeks and that construction usually takes about five months.

Houseman said during the meeting that a traffic study was due back within the week.

Culver’s began in Sauk City, Wisconsin, in 1984, and today, the chain serves guests at over 1,075 locations across 26 states. Popular items range from ButterBurgers to Fresh Frozen Custard and classic Cheese Curds.
