The Coffee County volleyball team got back in the win column Thursday night.

Welcoming Franklin County for a Class 3A District 9 match, the Lady Raiders came out on top with a 3-1 victory over the Rebelettes.

After falling 25-18 in the first set, Coffee County bounced back by taking the second set 25-16 to tie the match at 1-1. The Lady Raiders went on to take the third set 25-19 before following this up with a 25-10 win in the fourth set to seal the victory.

Andon Selvog led the team in aces with three. Jenslee Nogodula followed with two. Danni Hillis, Hayleigh Harris and Isabelle Saner had one ace each.

Nogodula took the top spot for digs with 14 on the match. Harris followed with 11, finishing just ahead of Selvog with 10. Hillis was credited with eight digs. Saner brought in three. Cara Newlin and Addy Wild both came away with two digs each. Blaine Weaver had one.

Harris was the team’s kills leader with nine. Up next was Hillis with six. Newlin and Cailey Sturgill both brought in five kills each. Wild added three. Paisley Dyer picked up two kills. Selvog and Saner each had one.

Dyer led the way in blocks with four. Newlin added three. Harris and Wild both had two blocks each.

Selvog led the team in assists with 13. Saner notched nine. Nogodula came away with four assists. Harris and Wild each had one.

Coffee County (15-11) hosts Tullahoma for a district match Tuesday evening. Start time is set for 6 p.m.
