A fter a pair of road games to kick off the 2026 regular season, Coffee County baseball was back on its home turf Friday night.

Hosting Smyrna, the Red Raiders made a late push but came up short in a 6-3 loss to remain winless.

Floyd had two of Coffee County’s five hits, with one each for McKenzie, Vernon and Bell. McKenzie, Vernon and Bell each had one RBI for a team total of three.
