Mr. Ewin Stanley Davis, age 87, of Manchester, passed away April 9, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 13,  at Manchester Funeral Home. Brother Paul Fults officiated, with burial in Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, and again at noon until time of service on Thursday at the funeral Home. Mr. Davis was born July 22, 1935, in Manchester, to the late George and Edna (Harrell) Davis. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Manchester. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Stanley Davis; and brothers G.A. Davis, James Davis; he is survived by his sons, Glenn Alan Davis (Julie), Jerry D. Davis, and Samuel E. Davis (Carol); brother, Rexford Davis; sisters, Flora Mae Wakefield, Irene Barlett; Grandchildren, Heather (Chris) Nelson, Jenna (Josh) Scott, Melissa (Jameson) McBrayer, Jared (Lainey) Davis, and Michelle Davis, Mattox Davis, Samuel Davis, Sean (Shelby) Davis; Great Grandchildren, Kayra Davis, Braxton Nelson, Annalise Nelson, and Lucas Nelson.
