Ms. Shirley Marie Woods, age 77, of Estill Springs, passed peacefully from this life on Monday, July 31st, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Shirley was born March 27, 1946, in Nashville, to the late Mr. Vestal Rippetoe and Mrs. Ethel Rippetoe (Frye). In her spare time Shirley enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Baker; daughter, Teresa Garner; brothers, Joe Rippetoe and Howard Rippetoe; sister, Anna Leoman. She is survived by her son, Phillip Ferrell (Mary); daughter, Melissa Sanders; brother, Troy Rippetoe; sisters, Dimply Watts and Linda Bessinger; and grandchildren, Kayla Ferrell, Michael Ferrell, Amanda Ferrell, and Tyler Stearns.
