Coffee Middle Wrestling beats Spring Hill on Eighth Grade Night

On Thursday night, the Coffee Middle Red Raider Wrestling Team played their final home match of the season and picked up a dominating win over the Spring Hill Generals.

Before the match, the Eighth Grade members of the Red Raider Wrestling team, Alyssa Ash, William Barlow, Landon Carson, Aime Miller, Grayson Peacock and Kameron Stafford were honored in a pre-match ceremony.

For the Red Raiders, William Barlow, Archer Rolefson, Marcus Jaidin Uselton, Jesse Lester, Grayson Peacock and Kameron Stafford all picked up wins by a fall, Alyssa Ash and Jayden Melton picked up wins by a decision and Caden Harris, Tripp Trussler, Toccoa Gaines and Luke Warrick all picked up forfeit wins.

Landon Carson would lose by a decision and Rylee McBroom would lose by a fall, but the Red Raiders still won handedly, 72-9.

Next up for the Coffee Middle Wrestling Team will be the CTWC Individual and Dual Championships.

For the Dual Championship, Coffee County will be the fifth seed among eight schools with Blackman, Warren, Tullahoma and Siegal being the top four.

The Individual Championships will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2 and the Dual Championships will take place on Sunday, Dec. 3, with both events taking place at Warren County.
