On Saturday, Ellysia Jennings placed first in the 185-pound weight class at the Garner-Dyer Girls Wrestling Invitational at Tullahoma.

On her way to placing first, Jennings had to wrestle with teammate Jade Lenhart in the semi-final round. 

Lenhart would go on to place fourth.

Placing second in the 120-pound bracket was Jasmine Norris.

Losing in the semi-finals of their respective brackets were Sara Crosslin in the 145-pound division and Estrella Armeta in the 152-pound division.

Placing fourth in the 132-pound division was Gabriella Silva.

Losing in the semi-final of the third place bracket were Payton Robertson in the 126-pound division, Jianna Bare in the 138-pound division and Lillee Evans in the 165-pound division.

Matilde Viterbo lost both of her matches in the 138-pound division, including a matchup with her teammate, Bare.

Next up for Coffee Central Wrestling will be a home match on Thursday, Dec. 7 against Smyrna.
