PARKER

Agnes Ruth Parker, age 86, of Manchester went to be with her heavenly father Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023.  She was born Jan. 20, 1937 in Hillsboro, to the later Marlin and Florence (Mayes) Baker.  Besides her parents, Agnes is also preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Parker, Sr; son, Jimmy Marlow; brothers, Buddy and Wayne Baker; sisters, Anita Bogle and Sammie Davie; and grandson, Adam Marlow.  Agnes was a longtime member of Morrison Church of Christ and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.  She loved her African gray, Axel Rose and her grand-dog, Chico.  Most of all Agnes loved making people laugh and also making people blush. Agnes is survived by her daughters, Sheri Hammonds (Woody), Debbie Darrell (Kevin), and Nancy Vickers (Neal); son, Glen “Buster” Marlow, Jr. (Melissa); grandchildren, , Ashley Hammonds, Christy Lewis (John), Curtis Vickers (Jennifer), Autumn Franks (Chad), April Fly, Joshua Marlow, and Karla Love; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Hale (Forrest), Olivia Lewis, Jonathon Lewis, Madison Vickers, Cheyenne Vickers, Gaven Franks, Makayla Ransom, Eric Williams, Tre Fly, Hunter Koger (Caleb), Catera Young, Mason Marlow, Alec Marlow, Ariana Marlow, Destiny Marlow, Jude Marlow, Journey Marlow, Sydney Love, Sienna Love, Livianna Love, Lacette Love, and Alessandra “Alli” Marlow; great great-grandchildren, Hadee Hale and Mason Koger. The family received friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023 at Coffee County Funeral Chapel.  Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Byron Ash officiating.  Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
