Shows scheduled for Feb. 9-11 at CCCHS

North Coffee Elementary students will present their fifth grade musical “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” this weekend with shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Coffee County Central High School.

Described as a, “delightfully offbeat adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl adventure, James and the Giant Peach JR. is a fantastical tale of a boy, his insect friends, and their amazing journey across the ocean on a giant piece of fruit.”

The musical was adapted to be performed by students by educational musical theater firm iTheatrics under the supervision of Timothy Allen McDonald.

Showtimes are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 and 2 p.m. Sunday Feb. 11.

Tickets for Pre-K to 5th grade students cost $8 and all other tickets cost $10. Admission is free for children ages 3 and younger.
