Crosslin signs with Lindsey Wilson College

On Tuesday, the CCCHS Wrestling Team announced that senior member Sara Crosslin signed her letter of intent to wrestle at Lindsey Wilson College.

Crosslin was a member of the Red Raider Wrestling Team for four years and had a successful 2023-24 season in which she placed second in the 145 pound weight class at the 2023 Bradley Rumble for the Rose in December, first in the Consolation B Bracket at the 2024 Red Hawk Invitational on Jan. 6 and fourth in the 2024 St. Andrews Mountain Top Invitational on Jan. 13.

In the TSSAA Region 2 Tournament, Crosslin would make it to the semifinals in her division, but would lose to Cleveland’s Adelyn Vanoy by a fall, and lose in the consolation semifinals to McMinn County’s Kanlay Retrosino by a fall.

Crosslin will be joining a new program at Lindsey Wilson College, as the Blue Raiders announced in September of 2023 that they would be adding women’s wrestling to their athletic department in the fall of 2024. The Blue Raiders will be competing in the NAIA’s Mid-South Conference.
