On Tuesday night, July 16, First Vision Bank took home the Manchester Youth Baseball League’s 10U Tournament Championship after a 17-2 win over G.H. Reed Concrete at Fred Deadman Park.

Both teams looked pretty even at the start, as G.H. Reed scored two runs in the top of the first inning, then First Vision answered with two runs of their own in the bottom of the inning to make it a 2-2 ball game after the first inning of play.

From that point on, it would be all First Vision Bank, as the team clad in blue and black uniforms piled on eight runs in the bottom of the second inning to take a commanding, 10-2 lead.

G.H. Reed could not find an answer to the onslaught of runs, and First Vision would add another seven runs to their score in the bottom of the third inning and go on to win the game 17-2 and capture the 10U Tournament Championship title.

First Vision Bank had finished second in the regular season standings to Fischer USA, but Fischer lost their semifinal game back on Monday to G.H. Reed 7-4. Also falling short in Monday’s semifinals were Dr. J, who lost to First Vision by a score of 18-3.
