Lady Raiders win against Warren

On Monday night, the Coffee County Central Lady Raider volleyball team came back from losing the first set to beat Warren County 3-1 and keep their home record perfect at 5-0.
Warren County raced out to a 6-1 lead in the early going of the first set and despite Coffee County coming back to tie the score at 15-15, the Lady Pioneers won the first set 25-22.
The second set would be a battle, with the score being tied at 12-12 and 21-21 at different points, but Coffee County held on to win 25-22 and tie the match at one set apiece.
The third set would also find the score tied at 12-12 midway through, but the Lady Raiders went on to win 25-16 and take a 2-1 lead in the match.
Coffee County would prevail in another close battle in the fourth set, winning 25-23 to win the match 3-1.
Rylee Clark led the Lady Raiders with five aces and an impressive 17 kills while Rileigh Russell led in assists with 22.
The Coffee County Lady Raiders improved to 9-5 on the season with a 5-0 mark at home and will travel to Spring Hill on Tuesday, Sept. 10 for their next contest.
