Threat made at WMS

Manchester Police Department has determined there was no viable threat after a possible threat was made to Westwood Middle School around 9 a.m. on Sept. 12.
Manchester City Schools said all threats of violence are taken seriously and officials will continue to monitor the situation.
“Our chief concern is for the welfare of both students and faculty,” an announcement by Principal Jim Dobson said.
The Manchester Police Department will have a heighten presence on the campus.
The announcement was distributed via the school’s parent notification system at 12:31.
