On Monday afternoon, the Coffee County Central golf team played host to Lincoln County in a head-to-head matchup at WillowBrook Golf Club.

Luke Lowe led the way for Coffee County, scoring a 39 in the nine-hole match with Rylan Melson turning in a 47, Bridger Gray scoring a 49 and Tanner Daugherty carding a 51 to give the Red Raiders a team score of 186.

Riley Keele scored a 52 and Elijah Carter managed a 59 in individual scoring for Coffee County.

Lincoln County pulled together a team score of 210 with their best individual effort coming from Grayson Collins Gentry, who scored a 44.

In the girls match, Leah Kate Sullivan scored a 51 and Karsyn Riddle scored a 55 for a team score of 106 to Lincoln County’s 121. Abagayle Luttrell had the best score for Lincoln County with a 60.

The next match for Red Raider golf will take place against Lincoln County and Franklin at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Fayetteville on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
