The CCMS Lady Raiders are moving on to the TMSAA State Volleyball Tournament after beating EO Coffman for the AA Section 3 Title on Thursday night.
Before playing for the championship, the two teams met in the semifinals in what would be an epic rematch of their Area 6 title bout.
This time, it would be Coffee County picking up the win with two, hard-fought victories; 26-24 in the first set and 25-22 in the second set.
The Lady Raiders would move on to the championship match while Coffman was relegated to the loser’s bracket finals against the host Rockvale Ravens.
Coffman would beat Rockvale in the loser’s bracket final, advancing to the championship match where they would once again meet the Lady Raiders.
Coffee County went on to beat the Lady Panthers again, punching their ticket to the TMSAA State Championships.
