Jefferson’s launched its inaugural run of the “Manchester Jefferson’s Coach of the Year” award in honor of National Coaches Day on Sunday, Oct. 6 to celebrate the dedication, care, and community spirit of coaches who make a lasting impact both on their athletes’ lives and in the Manchester community.
The restaurant will accept nominations through 11:59 p.m., Oct. 20. The award is open to coaches of any sport, working with athletes of any age in the Manchester area. Coaches can be nominated by anyone–athletes, parents, and guardians of athletes or school officials, etc.
One coach will be selected as the Manchester Jefferson’s Coach of the Year. The winner will receive a $500 Jefferson’s gift card and their name will be added to the Jefferson’s Coach of the Year recognition plaque that is prominently displayed at the restaurant for all patrons to see.
“We know the impact of a good coach at Jefferson’s,” said Sean McCooey, President of Double Dip Franchise Group. “As a game day destination, many of our patrons are athletes, teams, and fans who’ve had their lives changed by excellent coaches. We want to do our part to recognize those individuals who go above and beyond for their teams.”
Athletes and schools interested in nominating a coach can submit their nominations via their location’s nomination form during the submission period. The winner will be announced on Nov. 14.
