CLARK

Joe Clark, age 74, of Manchester, went to be with his Heavenly Father Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024.  He was born on Dec. 21, 1949 in Chester County, Pennsylvania to the late Clifton W. Clark and Annie Helen (Stancill) Clark.  In addition to his parents, Joe is also preceded in death by his son, Eric Savage; and grandson, Stan Cosner. Joe and his wife Janice lived in Manchester for the past 27 years and attended The Bible Church in Manchester.  He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. and loved helping other veterans.  Joe was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Shriners, and Masonic Lodge 31 in Bradenton, Florida.  Joe enjoyed collecting cars, trucks, and Marine Corps. Memorabilia. He is survived by his wife, Janice (Savage) Clark; son, Jason Cosner (Ashley); daughter, Brandi Cosner; grandchildren, Colton Savage, Anthony Savage, Adrianna Cosner, Alex Cosner, Sienna Cosner, Blake White, Dylan White; brother, C.E. Clark (Lynn); a host of nieces and nephews; and children Lisa, Joseph, and Steven Clark. The family received friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22 and from noon – 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Coffee County Funeral Chapel.  A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 in the chapel with Pastor Vernon Wagner Officiating.  Joe was laid to rest Monday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
