Westwood swept at home by Eagleville

The Westwood Lady Rockets and Rockets each suffered a conference loss on Monday night at Joel Vinson Gymnasium.
Lady Rockets
The Westwood Lady Rockets controlled the game through the first three quarters, compiling a halftime lead of 20-17 and leading 29-25 heading into the fourth quarter.
However, the Lady Rockets struggled on offense in the fourth quarter and the Lady Eagles took advantage, outscoring Westwood 15-4 in the final six minutes to win the game 40-33.
With the loss, the Lady Rockets fall to 7-3 on the season and 4-1 in conference play, which is good enough for second place in the current DRVC standings.

Rockets
The Westwood Rockets had the edge at the start, leading 7-4 after the first quarter, but the visiting Eagles held them to only two points in the second period to take an 11-9 lead at the half.
Eagleville controlled the third quarter, outscoring the Rockets 11-5 to extend the lead to 22-14 heading into the fourth.
Westwood battled hard in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Eagles 16-14, but it would be too little, too late as the Eagles won the game, 36-30.
The Rockets fall to 5-5 on the season with a 3-2 mark in conference play, placing them third in the DRVC standings as of now.
