DEADMAN
Christine Willis Lasater Deadman, 101 years of age, passed away at her home on Nov. 10, 2024 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by parents, Maggie and John Willis; six of her nine siblings; husband, Joe Lasater; son, Dan Lasater; and husband, Fred Deadman. She is survived by daughter, Susan McMahon and husband Wayne; daughter in-law, Barbara Lasater; granddaughter, Amanda Storie; grandson, Patrick McMahon and wife Alissa; granddaughter, Kimsey Wolf and husband Dustin; and great grandchildren, Hunter Storie, Jo and Thomas McMahon, Parker and Griffin Wolf. She was born, raised and died in Hillsboro. She enjoyed homemaking, cooking (bread making) and was an excellent card player. Active in her community. Christine took pride in her work ethic. Even at an advanced age, she maintained her own home and took pride in her yard. After the death of her first husband, she managed the Lasater century farm. She loved her time with her children, grandchildren, her great grandchildren as well as her friends. She was very grateful for those who stopped by for a visit. Services for Mrs. Christine Willis Deadman were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15 at Hillsboro Methodist Church in Hillsboro. Visitation will be from11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Church.
