Mrs. Margaret Daphyne “Dee” Yates Adams, age 93, of Manchester, passed from this life Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, in Manchester. Mrs. Adams was born in Asbury, Tenn., to her late parents Johnnie Yates and Annette Dick Yates. She worked for AEDC for 20 years as a key punch operator. Mrs. Adams also had a balloon business for years where she would deliver balloons to birthday parties dressed as a clown. She was also a faithful member of Asbury Community Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Yates and sister, Peggy Yates Grosch. Mrs. Adams is survived by daughters, Donna Bryan and Jamie Kay (William M.) Hutti; grandchildren, John (Michelle) Hutti and Greg Hutti; great grandchildren, Ryan Hutti, Zach Hutti, Ella Hutti, and Italia Hutti. Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 29, from noon until 2 p.m. at Central Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Central Funeral Home. Burial followed at Asbury Cemetery in Coffee County. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Asbury Community Church.
