Madison, Alabama was not a sweet home for Coffee County softball this past weekend, as the Lady Raiders went 2-3 in the Bob Jones Tournament.

April 1 at Lincoln County

Before making the trek to the Yellowhammer State, the Lady Raiders had to take on district rivals Lincoln County on Tuesday night in Fayetteville, but the Lady Falcons weren’t fooling around.

Coffee County cut the Lady Falcon lead down to two runs with a score by Ella Arnold in the top of the sixth inning, but the damage had been done and the Lady Raiders suffered their first defeat in 4A District 9 play, 4-2.
