Manchester City Schools has partnered with Stellar Virtual to open Tri Star Virtual Schools, a tuition-free K-12 virtual school now enrolling students for the 2025-26 academic year.

Authorized by the Tennessee Department of Education, Tri Star Virtual offers a flexible, personalized online learning environment designed to meet the needs of modern students and families. The school combines rigorous academics, certified Tennessee educators, and interactive curriculum to support student success.

“Our mission is to empower students across Tennessee with high-quality instruction, flexible scheduling, and the support they need to thrive in a digital world,” said Dori Fenenbock, CEO of Stellar Virtual. “We are excited to offer a virtual option that puts students first while maintaining strong academic standards.”

Tri Star Virtual Schools provides a full suite of services, including academic advising, college and career readiness programs, and access to extracurricular opportunities. Students will benefit from personalized learning plans, live instruction, and on-demand support.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to meeting students where they are,” said Dr. Joey Vaughn, superintendent of Manchester City Schools. “By combining the strengths of our traditional schools with innovative online instruction, we’re expanding access to quality education for families across Tennessee.”
