Dairy Queen returning to Manchester

John Coffelt, Editor

The Manchester Planning Commission approved during the April 6 meeting a site plan for the construction of a Dairy Queen on Woodbury Highway.

Owned and developed by Jaie Damron, the site is located just past Fire Station Two on Woodbury Highway.

The 1,964 square foot restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating and a drive-thru. Plans include two highway entrances.

The property was rezoned to C-3 Commercial in October.  The former Manchester Dairy Queen was located on the Hillsboro Highway in the late 90s and is currently an Advance Financial.
