Aman faces aggravated child abuse charges for allegedly leaving marks on a child with special needs when the youth had an emotional outburst.

The suspect, Timothy Joseph Carl Jones, 37, faces the felony charge after elementary school officials found the child with serious bruises and scratches on his arms. DCS went to the child’s home and talked to the mother who revealed the injuries must have been sustained when her boyfriend stepped in as the child had an emotional outburst at their home.

“The mother’s boyfriend stepped in to control the incident,” the warrant said, noting investigators have pictures of finger marks on the child’s upper arms. “Jones admitted grabbing ahold of the victim very forcefully.”
