Marilyn Faye Burks, age 78, of Tullahoma, passed from this life Friday, March 13, 2026, in Tullahoma.

Mrs. Burks was born in Lynchburg, TN to her late parents William Marion Tankersley and Minnie Lee Bailey Tankersley. She was a faithful person who loved Jesus and prayed for friends and family constantly. She was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed watching the Andy Griffith Show. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Jimmy Burks; daughter, Cynthia Roberts; son, Scott Bennett. Mrs. Burks is survived by a son, Brian Bennett; daughter, Kristy Bennett; grandchildren, Chris Perry (Kayley), Jessica Bennett, Halie Hernandez (Edder), Ashleigh Hill, Alanis Bennett, Austin Bennett, John Bennett, Kylee Benitez; great grandchild, Graham Perry. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 3:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Tullahoma.
