DRIVER

Michael Cody Driver, age 34, of Manchester, passed away on April 24, 2025. Born in Athens, Alabama, on April 1, 1991, Michael was the beloved son of Benita Alford and the late Tommy Driver, and stepson of Paul Alford. Michael was a devoted father, a loving son and brother, and a loyal friend. He is survived by his two cherished children, Jace Driver and Naomi Driver, who were the joy and light of his life. He also leaves behind his mother Benita, stepfather Paul, and brothers James Driver, Alan Driver, and Joshua Alford. Michael worked as a driver for Uber, where he was known for his friendly nature and reliability. Outside of work, he found happiness in video games, playing with his children, and collecting ninja-themed items—a passion that reflected his playful and adventurous spirit. Though he is gone too soon, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. A visitation was held at Manchester Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3, from noon to 2 p.m., with services to follow.
