EARLS

Mrs. Billie Maxine Earls, age 85, of Manchester, passed from this life Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024. Mrs. Earls was born in Coffee Co., TN, to her late parents Malcom Foster and Ruby Crouch Foster. She worked as a seamstress for Batesville Casket Company for 20+ years until her retirement in 2002. Mrs. Earls was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed cooking for Sunday family meals, enjoyed spending time with her family, and playing golf. Mrs. Earls was a very strong person as well and loved her family dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Earls; daughter, Vivian Allison; siblings, Geneva Rogers and Naioma Keeling. Mrs. Earls is survived by a son, Jeff (Melanie) Tomes; daughter, Melissa Gilliam; brother, Mike (Becky) Foster; sister, Jane Wimberley; grandchildren, Brittney (John) Cole, Lindsey Tomes, Brian (Emily) Gilliam, Wesley Gilliam, Jason (Bridgett) Jones, Kelly (Jason) Farris; great grandchildren, Mariah, Lexi, Alyssa, Paxton, Winleigh, Livi, Jessica, and Levi; several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Morris officiating. Burial followed at Blanton’s Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County.
