BROWN
Mr. David “Puffer” Brown, Jr., age 52, of Morrison, passed from this life suddenly on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024. Mr. Brown was born in Manchester, to his parents David Brown Sr. and Gloria Allen Brown who survive him. He worked for Bridgestone as an operating technician and was a member of the Steel Workers Union Local #1155. Mr. Brown never met a stranger – he loved everyone and everyone loved him. His passion was trucking, and he enjoyed driving every day. Mr. Brown was a simple country boy, enjoyed farming and working with cattle. He loved his family and friends to no end and was a man with a big heart and kind soul. Mr. Brown also loved visiting people and loafing around town. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his grandparents, Everette and Louise Allen and Buford and Ann Brown. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 31 ½ years, Mitzi Brown; sons, Bradley Brown and Jordon Brown; sister, Tina (Tim) Warren; nieces and nephews, Brooke Morrow, Shelby (Koty) Potts, Lauren (Jehu) Crouch, Ryne (Emily) Warren, and Shane (Cailey) Warren; special friends, Chris (Connie) Koon, Austin, Kelsey, Taylor and Dylan Koon; several great nieces and great nephews. Visitation was held Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester with funeral services following at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Central Funeral Home. Burial was at Summitville Cemetery in Coffee County.
