Red Raider Golf wins again in Sewanee

On Wednesday evening, the Coffee County Red Raiders picked up another win, this time in a four-way battle with Marion County, Sewanee and South Pittsburg at The Course at Sewanee.
Landon Collins led the way for the Red Raiders, scoring at even par with a 36 on the nine hole golf course. Jack Stowe was right behind with a 38, Levi Rossman carded a 39, and Noah Costello turned in a 40 to give Coffee County a combined score of 153.
In individual scoring for Coffee County, Jaxon Phillips scored a 41 and Carter Bell scored a 42.
Marion County turned in a combined score of 182 to place second, South Pittsburg pulled together a 191 to come home third and host St. Andrew’s-Sewanee scored a 201.
On the girl’s side, Leah Kate Sullivan led the Lady Raiders by scoring a 54 and Karsyn Riddle turned in a 60 to give Coffee County a combined score of 114 to beat South Pittsburg’s 119.
Red Raider golf will return home to host Franklin County and Lincoln County at WillowBrook Golf Club on Monday, Aug. 19.
