On Tuesday afternoon, CCCHS senior cheerleader Addison VanWinkle signed her letter of intent to Cumberland University.

“I had looked at a few other colleges, but Cumberland has a really good nursing program,” said VanWinkle. “Cumberland had also contacted me about being on the cheer team and that’s something that I wanted to take into consideration, because I wanted to continue my passion for cheerleading.”

VanWinkle will be studying to be a nurse when she attends Cumberland next fall and says she is excited for the opportunity to meet new people.

“Although I have plenty of friends here at Coffee County and it’s going to be sad to see them go, I am looking forward to exploring and making new friends.”
