School Swimmers and Manchester Makos to compete at Regionals

On Friday Jan. 26, and Saturday, Jan. 27, members of Coffee County’s swim teams will take part in the Region Championships at Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville, TN.
For Coffee County Central, Abby Gilday, Ansley Beachboard, Jack Stowe, Elsie Lazalier, Sadie Hockett and Jacob Bradley will be competing.
Gilday, Lazalier and Stowe will get to swim in their two preferred events and the Red Raiders will be competing in two relay events.
Coffee Middle will have three swimmers representing them in Nashville with Kaden Strohm, Hayleigh Johnson, & Jacob Bolin getting to swim in two events of their choice in which they made qualifying times in.
The Westwood Swim Team will have a total of seven swimmers with Sydney Shelton, Alex Dolack, Karsyn Riddle, Avory Gilday, Aidan Hayes, Eli Shelton and Hallie Hunt competing in two events of their choosing, and the girls will compete in two relay events.
A few of these swimmers are also members of the Manchester Makos.
The members of the Makos who qualified for Regionals are Saul Teply of Cannon County, Ansley Beachboard, Abby Gilday, Elsie Lazalier and Jack Stowe of Coffee County Central, Jacob Bolin and Hayleigh Johnson of Coffee Middle, Isaac Lee, Rosalea Buchanan, Jaci Howlett, Bethany Arnold and Addison Yates of Grace Academy, Alyssa Yates, Abby Sheldon and Kellen Watts of Grace Academy Middle, Micah Etier of Tennessee Connections Academy, Skye Lee and Will Nelson of Tullahoma High School, Dallas Lopez of Tullahoma West and Avory Gilday, Hallie Hunt, Karysn Riddle, Eli Shelton and Sydney Shelton of Westwood Middle School.
