On Thursday night, the Red Raider Wrestling Team boys and girls both lost to the Riverdale Warriors.

For the Red Raider boys, Jordan Spry, Austin Green and Jacob Barlow all picked up wins by a fall while Ian Walker won by a major decision and Giddian Mascari, Owen Shelton and Eli McLean all won by a decision.

However, Joel Cruz-Martinez would lose by a decision, Clayton Centeno, Sean Sanders, Zachary Warrick and Tommy Miller would lose by a fall and Riverdale would pick up two forfeit wins and win the match 39-31.

On the girls side, Jianna Bare and Estrella Armeta both picked up wins by a fall with Payton Robertson and Sara Crosslin picking up forfeit wins, but Jasmine Norris, Gabriella Silva, Jade Lenhart and Ellysia Jennings would all lose by a fall, and Riverdale would pick up four wins by a forfeit in a 48-24 win.

Up next for the Coffee Central Wrestling Team is the Bradley Central Girls Invitational which will be on Saturday, Dec. 9 and both the boys and girls teams will back on Tuesday, Dec. 12 to play host to Blackman and Lavergne.
