On Monday, Nov. 27, it was announced that Roger Haynes, defensive coordinator for the last two years and for three of the last four years, will be the new Head Football Coach of the Coffee Central Red Raiders.

Haynes took over as Interim Head Coach back in late August after Coach Doug Greene resigned due to health reasons.

The team went 1-7 with Haynes at the helm en route to a 2-8 overall record. 

“Coach Haynes’s passion and enthusiasm for the game and our program is contagious,” said Fall Athletic Director Brandon McWhorter. “We are fortunate to have him here as our head coach.”
