The Westwood Lady Rockets continue to search for their first win while the boys improve to 4-2 after facing off against Forrest School.

The Westwood Lady Rockets quickly fell behind 18-6 after the first quarter, but came back to outscore Forrest 5-1 in the second, down 19-11 at the half.

The hole dug by the Lady Rockets would prove to be too much, and Forrest would take the win, 32-20.

Scoring for Westwood were Jerzee Ferrell with eight, Amelia Johnson with seven, Zallona Dillard with four, and Maci Jackson with one. 

On the boys side, the Westwood Rockets would look to rebound after their loss to Cannon.

Westwood fell behind early, trailing the Forrest Rockets 8-5 after the first quarter, but came back in the second quarter to lead Forrest 17-12 at the half.

Forrest would outscore Westwood 15-13 in the third to trail 30-27 going into the fourth, but Westwood erupted for 19 points in the final quarter, to win 49-34.

Scoring for the Westwood Rockets were Zeke Jones with 15, Mason Troxler with 12, Caleb Hill with seven, Isaiah Buchanan with six, Zane Jones with three and Bridger Gray, Brady Christian and Kaden Ingle each had two.

Westwood’s next games will be on Monday Oct. 30th when they host Liberty.
