A 16 year old was killed in a crash early June 18 on Cat Creek Road.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol preliminary report the unnamed juvenile was traveling on Cat Creek Road when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree laying on the shoulder.

“The vehicle continued down the shoulder of the roadway striking part of a bridge and then another tree. Then the vehicle came to its final rest it caught fire.”

According to the report the juvenile was driving a Ford pickup.
